Alberto A. Candelario is the founder of SmartGroup360, Entrepreneur, Golfer, and Proud dad. He has played a pioneering role in the development of Puerto Rico wireless communication. He is widely regarded as one of Puerto Rico’s most respected and successful entrepreneurs. Born in 1968 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mr. Candelario start in business in 1992.
His business career began while he was studying Business Administration at the Interamerican University. After working at Radio Shack in the 88s, he decides on a startup selling cellphones and accessories with a vast inventory in his first store on De Diego Ave in Puerto Nuevo San Juan PR. A store with an inflatable Motorola cellphone on the roof which many will remember.
In 1994 he opened his second store at Marginal Vista Azul in Arecibo, also with a Motorola cellphone inflatable on the roof a flagship which many will remember by that time.
Mr. Candelario and his company, Microcellular Inc, focused on the development of the wireless and paging industry in San Juan and Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Alberto A. Candelario developed two landmark wireless stores on the Puerto Rico market – Microcellular San Juan and Microcellular Arecibo – both of which open the wireless market in Puerto Rico.
He also played a significant role in the transformation of the wireless community and Satellite industry introducing Dish in 1996 and redeveloping Microcellular Stores at Galeria Paseos Mall in San Juan Puerto Rico.
In Galeria Paseos Mall in San Juan, Mr. Candelario starts to develop 1997 a Microcellular wireless kiosk network in Grande Supermarkets which cover Dorado, Manati, Bayamon, Rio Piedras, Caguas, Humacao, Ponce, Yauco and Mayaguez Puerto Rico developing and growing the wireless industry all over the Island until 2005.

The exclusive real estate brokerage firm began as a specialist concern reflecting the founders’ passion and professionalism. Its area of expertise quickly expanded from San Juan, Guaynabo, Condado, and Dorado, and now includes luxury homes, estates, and commercial properties throughout Puerto Rico.

From 2024 to 2026 Mr. Candelario decided to pursuit his passion of golf and start up a project in this field in the rental+sales and reach multiple companies until one gave him the opportunity, PXG Parsons Extreme Golf. The #1 premium golf brand manufacturer.
In 2025 looking for challenge and compete against him he look up on the most notable brand on PGA Tour and signed with Srixon golf.
In 2026 a new challenge in the sports industry.
We are starting in Pickleball industry and when others say no, he decided to pursuit #1. He finally signed with Selkirk Sports pickleball,
